The Ozone No More

This is the process of CFC, as I explained in the article below. We need to stop this, and there is hope.

Sadly due to pollution our ozone has been disappearing, over the past few years. This problem is not an energy type of problem, but is still extremely important. This problem is a pollution problem. Much of this pollution is made by a single molecule that is so extremely devastating. The chlorine molecule is decimating our ozone. The ozone hole has been growing, and this is happening mainly in the North Pole. So in a sense, Santa's Back yard shrinks a little more each year. Why? you may be asking, well the answer is the sun. By leaving our ozone layer agape the sun's dangerous rays are shining through. These dangerous rays are called the ultraviolet rays. They are the rays that give you sunburns, but by breaking through the ozone layer their power is increased and the sunburns will cover you every time you step out into the sunlight. In the end it will make it so most people aren't going outside without an umbrella and spf 500 sunscreen, which unfortunetly does not exist, yet. This is all going to happen because of CFC's. This is the process of chlorine chemical. it is bounded with two other types of molecules. It Is attached to the chemical Fluorine, and Carbon, another element. Four parts chlorine,is attached to one part fluorine, and one part carbon. The scientific equation, though I hate these is CL4C1F1. When these molecules are touched by sunlight, which in the north pole happens only two months per year, August and September. When the light touches these molecules, one of the chlorine molecules breaks off of the bunch. It floats off and in will smash through thousands of ozone molecules. and with so many of these bunches floating out in the stratosphere, trillions to the millionth power of ozone molecules are being destroyed. We need to find a way to stop this. to find out more watch the video above.
