Ice or water?

Polar bears are being lost thanks to global warming, help save them!

It's our loss. It is estimated that by the end of the century our sea level may rise to 20 feet. Since about 100 years ago the ice has been melting, because of the melting the sea levels have been rising. They have already risen 6-8 inches which is actually a lot considering this has happened through out the whole global ocean. If but, most likely when the ocean levels have risen to 20 feet there will be a ton less property, sadly a lot less Penguins, and a lot less Polar Bears,  also less Leopard Seals, Elephant Seals, Orca Whales, and sadly so many more. All of these animals will be considered  extinct. Now, luckily, extinct does not always mean completely gone, but, just that the species is completely gone in the wilderness. They can sometimes still be found in Zoos or other wildlife facilities. all of these animals are somehow helping the ecosystem and the environment in some way, in fact every animal has a part in the environment. well except maybe a mosquito. But no matter what animal they were all placed on the earth for a reason, some reasons are unknown, but no matter, they all deserve a chance. By letting the ice caps melt we are in fact taking away many creatures chances. There are few ways to stop this, but there are ways. Such as, not littering, recycling, saving electricity. All of these are possible but to accomplish a full rebound on global warming everyone must do their part. Which includes you the one reading my blog. You can easily recycle, littering is sometimes a habit but hey try to throw things in the trash more often. Saving energy is quite easy when you get the hang of it, all you really have to do is turn off a light when your out of the room, turn off appliances that you're not using that minute. Everything you can do will help in the end. and actually saving energy is saving some money. So next time you leave a room remember to turn off the light in which case you will save a polar bear, and save some green while on your way to going green.
